Attended Courses:
February 2006 / Ultrasonography course in developmental dysplasia of the hip/ Prof. Dr. Reinhard Graff attended a course on hip ultrasound for developmental hip dysplasia (DHD), known as the Graff method. This course enables the performance of hip ultrasound screening in infants aged 0-4 months. Through early detection and treatment, it becomes possible to treat dysplasia (hip pathologies) without allowing them to progress.
November 2006 /Ankle arthroscopy course, an advanced-level ankle arthroscopy course, where he further developed his skills in performing advanced ankle arthroscopic surgeries. This hands-on course, conducted using fresh cadaveric specimens, allowed him to enhance his experience in successfully addressing ankle impingement syndrome, talus OCD, and other ankle-related conditions requiring arthroscopic interventions. Presently, he demonstrates proficiency in performing these surgical procedures with positive outcomes.
December 2006 / Double-bundle arthroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament / Dr. Freddie H. FU has excelled in the field of knee arthroscopic surgery, particularly in advanced procedures like arthroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) with great success. He has further enhanced his expertise by attending a specialized course on the double tunnel technique for ACL reconstruction, popularized by Prof. F. FU in the United States. This course has equipped him to effectively apply this technique in suitable cases, providing optimal outcomes for patients.
March 2007 / Fransa Shoulder arthroscopy course ; ALPS Surgery Institute / ANNECYDr. Yusuf Ünal enhanced his proficiency in shoulder arthroscopic surgery through a course led by Dr. Laurent Lafosse. This advanced training enabled him to successfully perform complex procedures including recurrent shoulder dislocations (Bankart lesion), SLAP lesions, and rotator cuff pathologies using shoulder arthroscopy. This minimally invasive technique offers significant advantages over open surgical methods and is currently the preferred approach for shoulder pathologies. Dr. Yusuf Ünal utilizes his expertise in shoulder arthroscopy to effectively treat a wide range of shoulder conditions.
May 2007 / Almanya Ars Arhtro Biotechnology CARES practice course, introduced by Ars-Artro company presents a novel approach in the management of cartilage lesions, introducing a fresh perspective towards their treatment by employing biotechnological methodologies. This innovative technique enables the therapeutic intervention of cartilage lesions through the utilization of advanced biotechnological modalities.
March 2009 / Antalya Wrist arthroscopy course, Wrist arthroscopy, an advanced form of arthroscopic surgery, offers a more convenient approach to assessing and treating wrist pathologies. By actively participating in an internationally recognized course conducted on fresh cadavers, valuable experience and expertise in wrist arthroscopy have been acquired. As a result, successful implementation of wrist arthroscopy for the management of wrist pathologies has been achieved.
